Zen 1 matches Ryzen 1000 CPUs. Although ~3000MHz RAM is roughly comparable to prices around 2400/2666, I’d aim for something slightly better. Seems promising. Spoiler alert!

It would be surprising if it appeared as if it was very old with a strange design, and the connector definitely resembled an older LGA type.

It's an AM4 chipset. Since it works with Zen+ or 2000 series CPUs, it probably belongs to the 400 series. HP might also have a 300 series version with BIOS support.
