I've been testing the Hyper X Kit since February 2020 without any problems, just aiming for tighter clock speeds and hoping things improve... I’m not using the Bdie Kit anymore. I’ve got a setup with a KHX3466C16D4/8GX 2x8 stick at 3466 MHz, which I fine-tuned using DrmCal. It didn’t support the newer Hysterix period, which matches what my current rig is. My build includes LPDDR5X 3600 MHz RAM, but it’s really slow and won’t boot at that speed—even with memory swapped to 3800 MHz on the Hyper X, it still fails. If I slightly adjust the main timings, it runs without issues during a 16-hour stress test. So for anyone curious about the maximum RAM support, it seems pretty limited. I have two different Hysterix kits that this CPU handles well, but it seems to struggle with Bdie for reasons like LPX tuning—though the listing claimed otherwise. The 3333 MHz profile on the LPX RAM worked for me, and I tried matching it with 3333 memory, though I ended up using sub-timings around 3400 MHz on the LPDDR5X and got a boot. I’ll share some bench results later—Hyper X vs LPX vs whatever the real numbers say.
