What method were you using to clear the CMOS? If it wasn't done properly, it could prevent it from clearing correctly!

Followed the MBO manual instructions to unplug the system. Waiting 15 seconds, then checking the two leads with CLR CMOS and DOUT for five seconds. After that, waited 30 seconds.

tested it with and without also attempted just draining the battery while holding the power button

system runs on a r5 2600x with a zotac 1080 ram and hyperX 2x8 3200mhz gpu. it uses asrock b450m steel legend, but there’s no video output continuously. i’ve attempted to reset the cmos.

Did you delete the CMOS battery? Not using the jumper. Edited February 3, 2021 by Latvian The title is missing an issue.
