I was playing a game with my friends and then my screen went black and came back on. My resolution was very high and all my colour settings changed, and the message said my AMD display drivers crashed. I restarted my PC to check if it would help, but the screen didn't turn on again even though the PC works fine. I've tried a different GPU and PSU, reset the CMOS, and tested various RAM types. After installing a new PSU, the PC booted twice normally. However, after leaving it for a day, it hasn't turned on again. Could anyone give me some advice?

It doesn't appear to be functioning properly without a picture. Is the BIOS visible? Could you try entering Windows Safe Mode? If not visible there, what should I do next?

A low-quality PSU could be the cause. The PSU has only a short warranty period, which makes it less reliable now. Despite this, since the PSU is outdated and likely contributed to the GPU failure, replacing it with a better one is advisable.

The Gigabyte unit seems functional, so it probably wasn’t the reason for the GPU dying. Still, given the PSU’s poor build quality compared to other units, it might have played a role. A new, high-quality PSU is essential to prevent future issues with the existing GPU.

If you intend to keep the RX 5700 XT or use a similar GPU with a lower TDP (225W), a 650W PSU is the minimum requirement. For better performance, consider models from Seasonic, Corsair, Super Flower, or other reputable brands.
