Hi, I have an AMD FX 8300 on an MSI 970 Pro Carbon gaming motherboard. I want to overclock the CPU from its stock speed of 3.3GHz. Any suggestions on how to do that? Thanks, I'm new here and really appreciate your help.

your full build details are as follows: msi 970 pro carbon gaming board, amd fx 8300 processor, evga 650 watt psu with gq gold certification, 16gb ram using corsair vengeance modules (two 8gb units running at 1866mhz via xmp on the motherboard). you're planning to overclock the cpu but need guidance on doing it safely while maintaining stability. thank you.

Excellent performance from the PSU and cooler, just adhere to this guide and continue monitoring; temperatures must stay below 65°C.
