Hi world,
It's a well-known issue: power on, fans spin but nothing happens. The Q-Code reads 00. I spent hours trying Mem-Training but saw no improvement.

System details:
- Asus ESC4000A-E10 (all cables pre-attached, as expected)
- 1x AMD Epyc 7543P (listed compatible, should work with BIOS v1)
- 8x Samsung 128GB M393AAG40M3B-CYF (1TB), matching Asus' list except for Lenovo stickers – could that matter?
- 1x M.2 Samsung 980 Pro
- No GPU; using internal VGA, monitor confirmed stable

Attempts so far:
- Let the system run over 12 hours (hoping for Mem-Training)
- Reconnected CPU twice (no matching second CPU to verify)
- Reattached RAM multiple times, tested single sticks in correct slots, tried two-stick setup
- Started without RAM – same issues, Q-Code 00, no POST
- Started without M.2 – identical symptoms, Q-Code 00, no POST
- Started without CPU – doesn’t boot at all, just idling PSUs
- Set jumper for RJ45 to static IP (10.10.10.10), PC set to 10.10.10.20; tried connecting via direct and switch, but can’t access via HTTP/HTTPS or ping
- Tested both LAN ports – no connection at all

Reached out to Asus Support, but they claim the system was sold a year ago without manufacturer support – I bought it new on Amazon. They didn’t assist.

Checked Amazon Support – they offered a return, but I already paid for compatible RAM and can’t find another system that works.

Consulted my 30 years of experience in building PCs; I’m seeking advice or suggestions!

No GPU, I'm relying on the internal VGA. The CPU doesn't have built-in graphics.

I'm really puzzled by this. If the CPU lacks built-in graphics and you're not relying on a GPU, shouldn't that be the main issue? I thought we were discussing something else when you mentioned internal VGA.

Install a GPU and try again. No video controller mentioned in specs:
ASUS ESC4000A-E10 GPU server
ESC4000A-E10 is an AMD EPYC 7003 GPU server for AI training and inference.
www.asus.com
Ignore. There is a standard server type video adapter on-board: AST2500
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/serve...C4000A-E10
Still worth checking if adding a GPU changes anything.
Have you ever reset the BIOS during all your troubleshooting?

The motherboard includes an integrated graphics chip AST2500 and the "internal VGA"-jumper is active.
I reset the BIOS twice and even removed the battery for a few minutes.
Attempted to install an older GPU, but I can't fit the external power supply onto the card due to the case design. I need to find a GPU that doesn't require external power or a server layout GPU. However, it seems unlikely this would help. Also, using it might cause another Q-Code?

Not necessarily the problem, but among the three Samsung NVMe drives on the AVL, this one isn't one of them:

Thank you, but the system doesn't post and behaves the same whether I try to start it with or without the nvme. It seems like there might not be a problem.
