The num lock button sounds when you press it, but the caps and scroll locks remain inactive. You mentioned checking the control panel or settings, but those didn’t resolve the issue. It seems the problem isn’t with the toggle key settings.

Hold it in place until it makes a slight sound, then it should stop.

I discovered the change I made to the number pad as a cursor control for debugging, but it also produced a sound when I toggled the number lock.
