The AI Overclock attempt did not succeed without applying the overclock settings.
Good day everyone. I’m facing a small problem: when I power off my PC in an unusual way and then turn it back on, the BIOS repeatedly displays
"AI Overclock failed, Press ...." even though I didn’t actually overclock.
The details are as follows:
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2679v4 (20 cores, 40 threads)
Motherboard: Asus Rampage V Extreme and Rampage V Edition 10 (same issue)
Memory: Corsair Dominator 3200MHz 16G * 8 (default speed, not overclocked)
Graphic: nVidia GTX 1080 2-way SLI
Power Supply: Corsair AX1500i
This happens only when I shut down the PC abnormally. I’m curious if this is related to the CPU model—would an i7-6950x resolve it? I understand Xeon cannot be overclocked, but I’m unsure if there’s a hidden overclock setting in the default BIOS settings of the RVE board or any configuration applied.
Additionally, after switching from Auto to Manual mode and adjusting the CPU BCLK to 100.0MHz with specific resistor values, the BIOS still shows the same message. However, I believe fixing the BCLK to 100 would actually prevent overclocking.
Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Would you like to disable the AI tweaker in the bios? Consider reverting it to the default configuration.
The problem occurred in the default setting, and I also turned it off.
I observed many small switches on the motherboard; is there one overclock switch that was always enabled?
I had an issue with my Gigabyte SOCx motherboard.
