I’m interested in the B450 and X570 chipsets. I just noticed new processors such as the Ryzen 3950X and many videos suggest using premium X570 motherboards. If someone pairs a 3700X or even a 3950X with an ASRock B450 Steel Legend or an MSI Bazooka V2, will the difference be clear?

The board's website highlights differences in connectivity. Either you risk losing performance when running stock, or the VRM may fail to function properly.

Lower-end boards usually come with a basic power setup for the CPU. Therefore, when you use top-tier chips with many cores, your budget models might struggle to provide sufficient power.
