Hello! I'm running a GIGABYTE A320M-S2H Rev1.1 board with F32 BIOS and a Ryzen 3 2200G processor. The chipset seems to restrict overclocking, but I've managed to boost both RAM and CPU speeds via the BIOS and Ryzen Master. I set my 2666MHz RAM to 3000MHz for more than a month without any issues. Recently, I discovered I could also adjust the CPU's clock speed, and both BIOS and Windows confirmed it. However, stress testing with Cinebench showed CPU utilization rarely exceeding 95% even at 3.80GHz OC. The CPU maxed out around 3.66GHz, close to its advertised turbo boost. I've experimented with clock speeds for hours without reaching my desired overclock, but RAM handled it smoothly at 2988–3012MHz in BIOS. It seems the CPU is the main concern. Could this be due to the A320 chipset limitations or something else? I checked frequencies using CPU-Z as well. The cooler is working fine at full speed, and temperatures stayed around 65°C after stress tests. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Gigabyte doesn’t really back CPU overclocking, even though some A320 boards manage it. The power supply isn’t reliable enough.

I own an A320-AC with solid overclocking capabilities, though not the best. Using Ryzen Master, I can see a noticeable performance gap compared to Task Manager. It seems the AC model might affect stability, but my temps and overall performance have been stable for the past six months. For systems with a Ryzen 5 2600 or higher, I’d advise against pushing overclocking, as it may not work well.
