The connector overheated due to excessive resistance, which caused it to become hot. Swapping just the motherboard side might not resolve the issue, but replacing both sides will definitely help. If your warranty is gone, remove a good EPS12v plug from one of your dead power supplies and connect it to the CM. This will allow safe use until you obtain a better power supply.
