My custom loop operates on geothermal principles. The yearly water temperature change averages around 8°C. Lower temperatures don’t boost chip speed significantly when running under constant load, but they keep idle and light loads stable at higher levels. Maximum clock speeds remain unchanged even with loads below 50°C. These devices just stall rather than ramp up. A 5GHz performance is ambitious, especially in cold conditions. Temperatures between -40°C and -50°C can be overcome with LN2 or dry ice. Binning affects cooling methods only; a chip tested in air may not perform well in LN2, so testing across temperatures and cooling setups is essential. Performance data from binning won’t directly indicate Infinity Fabric capabilities between chips.

Some people doubt it's possible, but others believe it is achievable.
