I recently increased my AMD FX-6300 to 4.8GHz using a Be Quiet! Pure Rock air cooler. I'm experiencing comfortable temperatures, ranging from 32°C when idle to about 70°C after stress testing (long GTA V sessions usually reach 67°C). The CPU remains stable in all tests and I haven't encountered any problems so far.
However, I've read on some forums that a higher CPU voltage than 1.5V for this exact model is risky. My current voltage is 1.544V—does that pose a problem?

You're operating near the edge; lowering the vCore isn't necessary. Bringing it back to 1.45-1.48 should suffice, and reducing your LLC should be fine. If it's too high, consider adjusting it down. I've already pushed the limits—4.9GHz at 1.57V caused instability and overheating, so I continued stress testing with a lower multiplier and increased FSB. Regarding your questions, I'm not sure what you meant by "llc"—could you clarify?
My work with overclocking the AMD FX-6300 has been quite satisfying. Running at 5.065 GHz and cvolts of 1.512v, the CPU outperforms the FX-9590 in single-core tasks. In multi-core scenarios it crashes the FX-8150, which I find surprising. When benchmarked against an Intel processor, it matches the i5 2500k at its default speeds.
