When I execute OCCT at stock speed, the CPU temperature reaches 93°C. This isn’t due to my cooler—it seems to be functioning properly. The pump operates, and the fans spin quickly. The pump RPM climbs to 1850 RPM. I own a Corsair H105. On my 4770K with liquid metal on the CPU, temperatures were excellent. Even at 1.5v on the vcore, temps stayed under 90°C if I downclocked RAM to 1333MHz. I have 2400MHz DDR3 RAM. It appears the thermal paste might be the issue. Protronix series 7 worked well with liquid metal but caused overheating now with either CPU. I also applied thermal paste to my laptop after it overheated; it still isn’t cooling adequately, especially on my desktop.
