I purchased this RAM thinking I wouldn’t need to push performance limits and it should function smoothly at 4000Mhz with the CL14-15-15-35 settings. Initially, it worked well at 3800Mhz, but after updating the BIOS, it stopped booting altogether at that frequency.
It's typical under normal conditions. Making significant adjustments without affecting your Fclock timing is not advised, and achieving 4000mhz on XMP isn't likely.
Under normal conditions it starts up, but after enabling XMP and lowering the clock to 3800 it fails to boot. Ensure your system also downclocks. It might still attempt to set the clock to 2000mHz; you can manually adjust your system clock to 1900 and test the RAM at 3800.
It doesn't start at 4000MHz, but it functions properly at 3800MHz. Updating the BIOS didn't fix the issue, and now it won't boot even at 3800MHz. XMP settings don't seem to help either.
Adjust the clock to manual mode and configure its frequency to 1900mhz.
