The 3600x update fails to start the system.
I owned a Ryzen 5 2600 with an ASRock B450M Pro4 running 3.50 BIOS. I upgraded to a 3600X and changed the BIOS to 3.60, then 3.90 (using only available options). It still won’t boot. I enter BIOS every time and it works, but it freezes at the Windows logo with the spinning loader. Safe mode helps, though I couldn’t install the B450 chipset drivers there either. This is getting frustrating. Got any suggestions? Thanks!
There is a problem with the winders files. Use the USB installation drive to fix your system.
There could be many possible causes, but in short, UEFI and Windows tend to work well together. The CPU driver might need a change, and the chipset driver could require an update. Memory support might have shifted slightly, causing some files to fail. I've seen worse with fewer issues. It's good to be grateful the system still starts after the update. AsRock isn't among the top three out of five options, at least for now.
