The 3000MHz RAM will not go beyond 2400MHz
Hello everyone, I’m struggling to reach the RAM speed I want. The default is 2133MHz, and I can safely push it up to 2400MHz; anything above that causes the screen to go black. My RAM supports up to 3000MHz with specific timing and voltage settings, but using XMP or manual adjustments always leads to a black screen. I’ve experimented with different configurations without success. Any suggestions could help me improve performance? PC details: Ryzen 7-5800X, capable of 3200MHz at 64GB MPG, B550 Gaming Plus (supports 3200MHz via JEDEC or 4400MHz via A-XMP), 4 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3000MHz C16.
Consider updating the BIOS. Also, Ryzen isn't compatible with Corsair memory. If the BIOS update doesn't resolve the issue, it's probably due to the quad channel configuration.
