I recently assembled my second Amd pc and everything worked smoothly until I connected the 24-pin cable. The 4-pin connector was easy to fit, but the other part didn’t fully align—it left a gap similar to a fingernail. I managed to adjust it, but compared to the rest of the connections, this one had a noticeable gap. I’m worried about turning it on before someone checks if it’s safe. I spent a lot of time saving money on this PC and won’t risk damaging it further, so I’ll stick with the current setup.

Ensure all pins are inserted simultaneously. Placing the 4-pin before the 20-pin is incorrect.

I did it that way after placing both together and it didn’t fully connect, then I tried putting the 4 first followed by the 20, and only the second time the connector snapped.

Ensure the two connector sections fit together before placing the full 24-pin. The 4-pin should be positioned on top of the 20-pin; inserting the 4-pin first will prevent the 20-pin from seating correctly.

I also verified that, the four are below the twenty.

It seems correctly linked; as long as it clips, it stays secured. A few custom sleeved cables feature a slight gap.

I made an error with that. The picture appears okay. I thought there would be a larger gap from your description. Don’t worry about it, but if you’re overly concerned, you can always try repositioning.

Then tomorrow when my psu comes in I’ll let you guys know if everything is fine, thank you so much, I still feel very stressed about that gap but if 2 people say it looks ok I’ll go forward.

Everything is functioning properly except for the ASUS ROG B450 F, which lacks a 3-pin RGB header. This means your RGB fans on the Gamemax F15M won't work. You might want to explore alternative solutions.
