It seems your system is experiencing random flickering in certain apps and games. Possible causes could include overheating, driver issues, or GPU strain. Checking cooling, updating drivers, and monitoring temperatures might help resolve the problem.

It seems unusual. The GPU probably is the cause, but haven’t checked the monitor. A weak PSU might be responsible too. Possibly the driver problem is involved. I understand it’s odd, but is the PC using a wall outlet or just an extension cord/surge protector? Poor surge protectors have led to similar problems before.

I checked it with a 5500xt using the identical monitor and cable, and everything functioned perfectly. Since the PC is connected via an extension cord, I’ll attempt to plug it directly into the wall to determine if that resolves the issue. The new PSU seems to be in good condition, so it’s unlikely that’s the cause.

Used connecting the PC straight to the power source and installing a fresh driver, but nothing improved.

It appears the GPU is likely the issue, especially since testing with another GPU resolved the problem.

Testing various software and games, still facing flickering issues. No problems with Davinci Resolve 17 or HitFilm. Other programs like Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition work fine. In-game fixes don’t help—GPU isn’t the main cause.
