Valve revealed the winners of the 2023 Steam Awards, sparking surprise reactions. Some claimed participation was low, prompting a streamer to influence the results for laughs. RDR2 earned "Labor of Love" despite no new updates in nearly three years. Hogwarts Legacy won Best Game on Steam Deck, though it struggled on a Steam deck. Starfield took the award for most innovative gameplay, while many criticized its 2010 Bethesda design. Reddit users expressed strong discontent over these selections.

I'm confused about what was happening. It seems like a marketing trick or something, but I prefer playing games without focusing on the storefront details. It's quite frustrating dealing with such a complicated interface! Haha, that's a bit much.
