The Nvidia control center automatically selects the GPU it believes is optimal—using IGPU for less demanding tasks and 3050ti for gaming. Since I wasn’t using heavy workloads during the screenshot, it might be linked to IGPU. I’m considering a dp adapter to test. Currently, I’m using a USB-C to HDMI adapter which is functioning well. I’m okay with it running at 120Hz even if it’s not the best option. The spec mentions HDMI 2.0 supports 1080p at up to 144Hz, though it caps at 120Hz regardless of resolution. According to the documentation, it should handle 144Hz over HDMI.

The Nvidia control panel didn't mention refresh rate choices. I only had a way to adjust 3D settings. A DisplayPort dongle worked for me. I think the USB-C to HDMI adapter included with my laptop was an older HDMI version, which limited my connection speed. Thanks to everyone who assisted!
