This isn't what you think. In fact it's the opposite. I'm getting unusual results from time spy and i don't know what to make of them. So i've been testing windows 11 for a while now. I've focused on game performance and ended up stumbling upon something that has me totally confused and at odds with everyone else. I don't know if it's because i had a win10 issue a few months ago i didn't know about or if its the case that win11 is just that good. I just don't know whats going on. The problem is 3dmark. Time spy. Look 3 months ago i built a rig for my ex wife. I built her one similar to mine. I used time spy to show her what her machine scored (6300) compaired to my machine (6900). I still have the pics on my phone from it. Well i ran time spy on win11 and the results blew me away. I've ran it a few times now just to make sure it wasn't some kind of mistake. I'm now getting around about this. For some reason my time spy is marking me much higher than on win10. I still have the pic on my phone of my pc scoring in the 6900's. There's no mistake. The upgrade i did has somehow boosted my time spy score. Anyone got any idea whats going on here because i refuse to believe im the only one getting a boost from it. Besides it doesn't actually translate to extra fps in games so im very sceptical atm.
This likely explains the information on the AMD support page for the PA-400.
But I'm not being slowed down by that. What's happening is what's making me think. My performance has jumped a lot lately. Even though games run at the same frame rate as Win10, it's really puzzling me. I don't get how switching the operating system could boost my time spy score by more than 700 points.
