Welcome to resolution... Adjusting the quality means lower detail at lower settings and higher detail at higher settings.

Absolutely right. Just check the settings: AA enabled, render resolution at full 100%, and confirm the output is 1920x1080. For such a high price, a 27-inch 1440p display would look much sharper.

Because your choice was too small. 1080p on 27 inches falls way short. 27 inches at 1440p works better than 24 inches, but still not ideal. 21 inches offers the perfect balance. So 27 inches isn't the sweet spot—it's a misfit.
