Here’s a rewritten version of your text, aiming for clarity and flow:
I'm looking to upgrade my PC cooling system and was hoping for some recommendations. Currently, I have a NZXT Kraken X72 cooler, but I’m interested in quieter and more efficient options. Specifically, I'm considering the Corsair ML and LL fans – the LL looks appealing aesthetically, but I understand the ML series is quieter and offers better performance.
I also want to add RGB lighting to my build, so I’m exploring options like Phanteks Halo RGB fans. However, I’m concerned about color matching with other components.
Ideally, I'd like a fan that delivers strong airflow and good RGB capabilities. The Corsair ML/LL fans seem promising for performance, while the Phanteks Halo RGB fans could provide the desired lighting effect. Are there any alternative fans that offer similar performance to the ML series but also integrate well with an RGB system like the Halo? I’m open to suggestions for both fan types – either a high-performing fan with RGB or a fan specifically designed for easy RGB integration.
Found this info on the Corsair forum, some guy put all the specs nice and neat:
Fan/mmH20/RPM/Noise in dB/CFM
Corsair LL-120 1.61 1500 24.8 43.25
Corsair ML120 1.78 1600 25 47.3
Corsair SP120 (RGB) 1.45 1400 26 52
Corsair HD120 2.25 1725 30 54.4
The LL and ML are very close in performance in about everything with the ML fans pulling slightly ahead.
That said i know what you mean when it comes to performance. I have been toying with the idea of replacing my HD120 setup in my 570X to LL120s for the looks plus the control with the Lighting Node Pro. I think the only real advantage the ML120s have is the bearing. The noise levels are similar (LL is 24.8dB vs 25dB for the ML) as are the CFM.
