Do you still enjoy RuneScape? The developers released a major overhaul this year, moving away from Java and introducing the new client NXT—distinct from WWE. It brings back many visual improvements from earlier versions, making it a refreshing experience for those who played before the change or are new to the game.
Turning on and off, I remember our last chat about Armies of Gielinor. It's still in Java, but I'm not sure what steps I need to take to get it running. I wonder if they maintain the funorb games anymore. Used to enjoy visiting there before Steam changed everything.
Someone with past experience in Jagex mentioned RuneScape hasn't worked out. The last CEO focused mainly on quick gains, ignoring community needs. They even turned down new hires to enjoy exclusive perks. The current acting CEO is a jmod who engages with fans, suggesting they’ll either stay true to RuneScape or, if they expand, do so wisely.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was a standout experience; I haven’t found anyone else who enjoyed it as much.
I mostly enjoy Roblox and Wizard101, mainly because those platforms work smoothly on my laptop. I still find them fun even though I’m not up-to-date with the latest changes. If you know about Wizard101’s current update (Mirage), I’m at level 120 and it happened before the mob patches were applied. I finished everything during a storm. For Roblox, I only play two games at the moment.
This game is often overlooked but delivers impressive combat compared to other RPGs. It blends elements from DMC and Darksiders, which is a nice touch. I also enjoy Salvatore, so it's disappointing the studio shut down. Would you like any quality mods, especially for graphics?
