Hello everyone! I recently installed a new monitor and found that much of the in-game text becomes blurry or unreadable unless you're very close to your screen. This wasn't a problem when I played on my TV, so I suspect it's related to resolution settings. I mostly play on Medium or High settings, which suit my current cooling setup that should be resolved soon. (Medium handles tougher games, High for less demanding ones.) Any advice would be really appreciated! Here are my specs: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/tCfPFg (I'm using an ASUS TUF Gaming VG279Q1A, just looking for a similar model).
You purchased a 27-inch display with 1080p resolution. This is typical. 1080p works well for a 24-inch screen, and with good vision it's fine for 21-22 inches. A 27-inch setup is acceptable at 1440p (2560x1440) if your eyes are sharp, or you can use 32 inches of 1440p for everyone else because the pixel density matches that of a 24-inch 1080p screen.
You should consider a monitor in the ASUS TUF line for your second screen. It’s a solid choice if you’re comfortable with 1440p resolution, especially since it works well with glasses and improves clarity for games like WoW Classic. The 27-inch size is also a good fit for your needs.
