Testing RTX 3060 and AMD Ryzen 9 3900x at below 100 fps in Rust with moderate configurations.
Hey everyone! I just got a new PC and wanted to try playing Rust, but I was really surprised by the low FPS and some annoying drops. I’m not sure what’s going wrong. My specs are: CPU – AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, GPU – RTX 3060, RAM – 16 GB at 3200MHz. Could anyone help me figure this out? Thanks a lot!
Is the BIOS current with the most recent release? Do you possess the newest software from the motherboard portal (Chipset, Sound, Network, etc.)? https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-com...-B450-PLUS (Ensure you choose the appropriate operating system) Is the graphics card driver refreshed to the newest release?
Confirming XMP presence is important, though it varies based on the prebuilt version we're examining.
just to be clear 100fps is about what u should be getting, but doing the things mentioned above could improve it a little bit, yeah. But, nothing is really surprising here, low range card... somewhat acceptable performance ( maybe also a pre built? uh oh)
For 1080p gaming, a RTX 3060 or 3060Ti works excellently. The 3060Ti typically boosts frame rates more in FPS titles.
I didn't claim it wasn't good; I was explaining what to anticipate, particularly since they're not restricting their frames, which will result in a noticeably slow performance.
