I currently use a Corsair 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 C15 running at 2933MHz, as my CPU can't handle memory above that speed. I'm considering upgrading to Corsair 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 for a total of 48GB. Since the 32GB model isn't available, I'm opting for the 3200C16 at a lower speed but with improved CAS latency. Both types should offer similar data retrieval latency—around 10ns—but I'm unsure if they'll run optimally together. Have you experienced similar setups before?

With the extra memory added, you'll likely need to use a lower frequency. Common options are 2667mhz or 2400mhz, though 2133mhz might be a default. Only after testing will you know for sure. Good luck!

You're asking about the type of motherboard based on your running stats.
