Testing Chrome Flex on a standard PC – will it function properly? It appears they favor laptops.
I'm exploring Mint, Ubuntu, and Chrome on an old PC. Chrome doesn’t support dual boot, so I keep it on a separate machine. When setting up the flash drive, they ask me to pick my laptop, but my system is a custom build with an ASROck H110m board. Before changing the OS (W10), I’m curious if it will run and which laptop would be better instead. The SSD is too small for W10 partitions, so I’d need to replace it—though I don’t want to do that if Chrome doesn’t work. Is Chrome Flex limited to laptops listed, or can I still use it on my regular desktop? What’s the best way to install it for optimal performance?
