Following partition encryption via Veracrypt, the system remains stuck during testing—drive remains unencrypted. It fails to start Windows via rescue disk, Veracrypt loader, or Windows bootloader, instead entering an infinite loop. The machine is a late 2016 HP Spectre x360 with BIOS f.16, secure boot turned off, and legacy boot activated.
