I have a 4x8Gb DDR4 memory setup and I’m trying to verify if there are any issues since I keep seeing memory management stopcodes on Windows 10 versions 5 and newer. It worked fine for a while with one 8Gb Hynix stick, but recently the problem started after upgrading to a larger memory kit. Adjusting the SOC offset in BIOS seems to have resolved it, and now it runs smoothly even after idle for a day. I’m currently about to complete Memtest86 for seven hours with all modules seated and am planning to finish pass 4 without errors. I’m wondering if four passes would be sufficient. I’ll also run another stress test after Memtest86 once the system boots up, possibly using tools like Blender or Prime95. I’m a bit concerned about spending another 7-8 hours on Memtest86, but I’ll see what the tests reveal.
I believe it should work without issues if you avoid errors during the 4 passes. Someone mentioned that after 10 passes you're fully secure. I tried 2 passes with memtest86+ (about 12 hours on one core) and 4 passes across all cores (another 12.5 hours), both times error-free. That seems sufficient for me.
