Terrible FPS crashes rendering first-person shooters unusable
Hello. I've encountered a similar problem where lag spikes occur unexpectedly in certain games, especially Overwatch. After resetting my PC, the issue persisted. In VALORANT, the spikes only appear at the start of a round and never recur, but in Overwatch, they happen consistently and disrupt gameplay. I use an old gaming laptop with an external monitor, and during these spikes, the screen on my side darkens and then brightens briefly. Monitor temperatures while playing, install HWinfo64. Your computer probably limits performance. Just activate sensors when launching the app.
