Hey
SO yes, I just bought Terraria... I was wondering if someone could give me a quick rundown on the game? Like what is the goal of it? I know there is an end game boss or what not... But I don't mean to say this but is it
Kind of
a 2D Minecraft?
Medium or Large map?
How do mods work? Do they disable trophies? I like going for trophies.
Need the rundowns!
Thanks!

Endgame is merely a repetitive process. Similar to Minecraft, the massive beings don't truly conclude the game (the dragon certainly brings in the earnings, but you continue afterward) so you essentially keep improving until you lose interest and explore other options.

It seems the aim is to eliminate every boss in the game. I’m not very experienced with Terraira, but I understand that once you defeat the tough boss, the game becomes more challenging with harder enemies and better loot to gather or craft. The main goal is to build up your strength through resources and kills before tackling all the bosses.

Many players enjoy Minecraft for its building features, while Terraria focuses more on boss elimination. When watching streamers, they usually prioritize practicality over aesthetics, focusing on getting NPCs to stay and provide useful items instead of spending time on decoration.

Of course, you can continue playing after defeating all the bosses.

Summary of key points
Note: I’ll leave some details hidden. I tried to stay close to the original meaning and style.
The core idea is to gather resources, defeat bosses, and prepare for the next phase. Spoiler included.

Also remember not to use mods if you prefer trophies. The game offers plenty of replay value and is perfect for creating a world with friends. After earning your trophies, I strongly recommend customizing it because there are numerous excellent mods available!

Large Map, unless you are rushing to get alternate worlds for your character for specific minerals
Its better than Minecraft (by that i mean there is a lot more content to play with)
