I have PC hardware parts laying around and just thinking or wounding what's the market like for them and worth sellig them on rather then going into a trash tin. The gear is getting on to ten long years and it's still good for 2021 to a point. i7-3930K 6-cores 12-threads, at 3.80GHz however this beast can do over 4Ghz. Still in it's original box Asus P9X79 deluxe, original boxed and it's 2011 socket, however needs refurbishing/fixing - 3.0 USB sockets gone Asus gtx 680 directcu ii - Vram is olny 2GB and also in original box Corsair 16GB DDR3 1866 sticks - original box YEAH, I keep all my original boxes for PC that old other then GTX 470 and i5 850. So what's the verdict, trash or selling them or sell them to trash or make it into a working PC again LOL
This content isn't worthless at all. You should consider selling it or sharing it. It could also be repurposed as a functional home server.

Start browsing on eBay, local used items, etc., and compare prices. That motherboard is essentially worth gold, especially any older high-end HEDT socket board not sold on AliExpress. It’s usually over 100$ for that board. The 3930k costs around 50$, but it remains a solid CPU choice and with some overclocking can match a Ryzen 2600/2600x. 16GB DDR3 typically sells for about 70% of today’s prices. The 680 models have prices that seem unreal low—probably over 100 again or more. The packaging adds value by showing good customer service, even if that’s not always the case, and sellers often go the extra mile.
I understand everything you said and since items aren't as readily available in the UK as elsewhere, you won't face any issues selling them at their true value. I can assure you there are people in the UK who would be interested in what you have, provided it meets their needs.
