During Starfield downloads, three random blue screen restarts occurred—uncertain if linked to CPU temps. Since installation, you've been trying to play games but haven't succeeded. In BIOS you set thermal limits to 85 and are running Expo1 with PBO at a curve of 30. The issue persists with freezing. You're using Windows 11 Pro. Are these temperatures typical for your setup?
The issue seems tied to lower temperatures. Reducing it to -20 should help, though not ensure stability on every CPU. Your heat output remains an issue. What ambient conditions are you experiencing? My 7800x3D runs about 40°C at idle with the air cooler, reaching up to 82°C during a Cinebench R23 test. Gameplay stays in the 60-65°C range, which matches what @RONOTHAN## mentioned.
I believe the unit struggles with low voltage conditions; my 7800x3d faced the same issue when I overvolted it. For temperatures on my Lian Li Galahad Trinity II 360, I see 40-45°C at idle, 50-60°C during gaming, and around 65-70°C while running Cinebench Multi Core.
