Temperatures per CPU core of the Ryzen 3700X model
Hi everyone, I've been diving into some research on this topic and it's really important to me. I own a new Ryzen 7 3700x with liquid metal applied. The thermal performance is solid, staying well under the ~95°C threshold, but I'm concerned about ensuring the liquid metal fully covers the die beneath the IHS. If I don't want to completely disassemble the CPU, is there any method to check the temperature per core? From what I've read so far, it seems like no reliable way exists. HWiNFO only shows general stats like "CPU (Tctl/Tdie)", "CPU Die (average)" and "CPU CCD1 (Tdie)". These are typical readings, but they don't give a per-core breakdown. I've tried several other programs and double-checked the drivers, but nothing provides detailed per-core data. Sources say this isn't unique to my setup—my motherboard is an Asus B450-Plus with the latest BIOS. I've done everything possible to confirm, but if it really isn't possible, I might just re-check the liquid metal and accept the risk.
Your clock operates at a specific speed, and it's only overclocked for certain cores rather than all of them.
