He’s experiencing high temperatures, especially during gameplay. The temps are rising as expected with the load. Running OC tweaks like extreme core stress can help, but a 360AIO might still be beneficial for better cooling if the issue persists.

Also influenced by your fans and the condition of your P600S setup; when all vents are closed, it lacks proper airflow.

I believe it won’t slow down until temperatures reach over 90°C, which means I shouldn’t worry much about it.

It seems straightforward with the Corsair iCUE H150i Capellix, a 360 AIO setup.

It isn't the optimal choice for the CPU. The 6mm heat pipes are having trouble managing that powerful component.

Yep. Ensure the airflow mode is active by removing the front panel from the mesh. The TJ max for that chip is 90°C; it will automatically reduce performance to safeguard itself, preventing any harm. The Fuma 2 tends to run a bit low in my tests—offers solid value with good performance and noise control—but its limited fan speed might not suffice under heavy load. A 360 AIO isn’t the only choice and may add unnecessary complexity. There are some really solid air coolers available, and swapping the fans on the Fuma 2 could be a better alternative.

The cooler isn't designed for a CPU this powerful. It's from the mid-80s, so upgrading to a 360mm AIO shouldn't be an issue. If he really needs it, a 240 or 280mm option would work better. The 360mm is not essential.

5800X3D PPT consumes around 105W, which is significantly less than the 5950X or Intel 12900 that can reach 200 to 250W+, making it capable with the Fuma2. The issue isn't power consumption but rather the chip design—similar to the 5800X, it features 8 cores on a single die, causing heat to concentrate rather than spread evenly. Reddit discussions also suggest that the 3D cache exacerbates the problem, with users reporting temperatures between 80 to 85°C under CBR23. Upgrading the cooler might help, but swapping to Noctuas could be a better solution for improved cooling performance.

It could be a mediocre cooling solution, yet it should suffice for the processor.
