Hey there, I've been running an H100i V2 from Corsair for quite some time. My OCd is set to 4.6 at 1.35, but I'm noticing idle temps hovering between 50-55°C. Have others with lower specs experienced this? - Corsair Crystal Series 280x - MSI Z270I Gaming Pro Carbon AC - 16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro - EVGA RTX 2070 XC Ultra - 2 ML120 fans for intake at the chassis floor, 2 LL120 fans in front, and 2 ML120 fans on the radiator at the top for exhaust.
The temperatures are acceptable, though I would consider them unacceptable personally. Turn on Speed Step and C-states if they cause issues.
Also, when under pressure, temperatures have risen significantly. It might be that the AIO pump isn't working efficiently or the block is clogged.
I've been a bit sluggish lately, especially since online school has taken up much of my time. That's why I haven't paid much attention to temperatures. During the first overclock, things stayed steady. Also, I'm new to overclocking, so I relied on Reddit and Tom's advice without checking thoroughly. When I reduced the voltage and ran a stress test or tried booting into Windows, I encountered issues—either a blue screen or everything freezing. Right now, I'm worried my AIO might fail. I've reached out to Corsair support, but returns could take up to a month, which isn't ideal. In the meantime, I've ordered an H100i RGB Platinum.
