My situation involves a Cooler Master Cosmos II with an h100i v2 CPU cooler, which is a closed water cooler. Initially, the thermal pad included came with it and worked well. However, after some adjustments, I had to replace it with Arctic MX-4 due to needing to re-seat my CPU. Changing the paste didn’t improve things much, so I’m planning to switch to silver paste.

In the meantime, I decided to upgrade the fans inside the case. Before, the setup looked like this:

How much did you put? What method. Check your mounting pressure.

do you have corsair link installed to operate the pump? i also noticed some variations in temperatures when switching cpus, with the i7 2600k and i5 6600k showing significant fluctuations.

AppleGwava :

I snugged it down but didn't wrench it super tight.
BringerOfTea :
are you using Corsair Link to run the pump? I too had some difference in temperatures when changing CPU, from a I7 2600K to the I5 6600K temps are fluctuate alot...
No, I don't use their software because I don't use Windows. The temps were fine in the beginning though until I had to reseat the CPU and then even worse after I added fans. I think the air going through the rad is too hot so that's one thing. I can feel hot air coming out the top of the case. That didn't matter much in the beginning for some reason.
Also, here's a 20 minute graph snapshot of some sensory...

Here’s a summary of the readings. I’m focused on solving this issue. I’m about 10c away from my expected position.

It's possible they might send back the CPU cooler. Hmm...

Their customer support is excellent, which could be the reason. However, we need to verify whether these figures represent load conditions or idle ones. It's important to confirm if the data remains consistent under load; sudden spikes in processor usage can be challenging for a water cooler to respond to.

Their customer service is great, so they might.
But are those numbers on load or idle?
Check to see if it's stable during load, sudden spikes in processor load are hard for a water cooler to react to.
That's idle (Pretty much idle). That's my OS running with all my startup programs and I think I had a video playing. The actual load in terms of the processor and GPU isn't much with those programs running (i7-6850K and Titan X Pascal). If I'm just sitting in BIOS it will be like 39-40c. I consider what I'm doing right now is mostly idle condition. A whole bunch of apps open, streaming a torrent, browsing with a bunch of tabs. Heavy load for me would be like a VR game, a neural net, compiling or rendering something. But like I said, even in BIOS it's about the same as right now as far as temperatures.

The only method I'm aware of for controlling pump speed is via the corsair link, haven't you looked into the corsair forums? You might discover a solution there. Also, I experience 40 ish C before the corsair link begins. You could also try removing the fans you previously used... it may affect airflow, so consider reapplying a smaller amount of thermal paste.

I also experience 40 ish C before the corsair link activates. You might want to try removing the fans you've already used—this could affect airflow—and reapply a smaller amount of thermal paste. I could attempt to use Link, but it would consume a USB port on my motherboard that I need unless I can find a workaround. I currently have the radiators connected to my CPU fan port and am at 44c, which isn't ideal. It seems my airflow might also be off. I have around 8 or 9 intake fans, one exhaust on the back, and another through the radiator on top. Perhaps the radiator should handle intake and then I'd need to improve exhaust elsewhere. One of these suggestions should help. Just need to do some adjustments. I've also ordered some Arctic Silver 5 paste, but I don't like the MX-4 I already have in place.
