Hello, I have a 5900X with an EVGA CLC 280 on an X570 Aorus Master. During a Modern Warfare multiplayer session, I captured four screenshots in one match. I’m wondering about the item and column numbers, the exact values shown in Ryzen Master, and whether these temperatures are typical for this CPU. Am I risking damage to my processor? Also, I’m running both CPU and GPU at their default speeds. Thanks!

The Ryzen master is likely checking the CPU Die (Average) data. (Row 3) A 90°C temperature won’t harm your CPU, and running it too hot won’t damage it. Ryzen chips are built to handle high power and heat for better performance. When they overheat, they slow down and cool themselves. This means you’re sacrificing some speed, and 90°C is warmer than I’d normally expect for a 280mm AIO. Does your AIO allow you to track water temperature? How are your fans positioned on the radiator, and where is it located in your setup? You might also want to re-mount the AIO to improve contact.

It seems you overlooked your thermal paste. A 280mm AIO should maintain a temperature of 70-80°C during full load without overclocking.

These readings don't match expectations for a 280AIO. You should aim for 70 during gaming and around 80 under stress testing. A reading of 90 suggests an issue with installation or functionality.

It seems the setup might need adjustments. Did you apply thermal paste? Also, confirm the pump is operational. A quick note: you can resize images by pressing CTRL + double-click on the pictures to avoid taking up too much space.

It's quite high even for resting mode, let alone just playing. I noticed the "current voltage" is 1.38v. Maybe a repaste, remount, and if temperatures stay down, apply a -0.05v offset should work.

The aio is placed at the top of my Corsair Obsidian 500D using a push setup. I swapped the Evga fans for Thermaltake Ring Plus and linked them to the fan controller—did I do something wrong? I remember setting this up before with an 8700k and never faced any issues.

The aio is linked to the motherboard, utilizing the cpu_fan header. I configured it to run at 100% in the BIOS. I also used noctua nth1 thermal paste.
