Operate with a rear fan blowing more air. To clarify, the machine worked best at 38–42°C idle, 57–65°C under load, peaking at 70–72°C during high demand. CB R23 hit 87°C with PBO, while 76°C without it. Scythe Mugen 5 (single 120 fan) and six Corsair 120s on a tailored fan profile with restricted intake area.

I believe I should consider buying another rear fan. Thank you for your feedback. Everyone nearby seemed convinced there was a major issue with my cooler. TY!!

For a 5900X, 90C at idle is a problem. 90F at idle is not. 5600X is safe to 95C at full load, 5800X / 5900X / 5950X are all safe to 90C at full load.
