Temperature spikes after component adjustments
Temperature spikes after component adjustments
I'm sorry for any confusion, but I made some errors in my writing. Two days ago I switched my case, PSU, RAM, and SSD. After that, I reset my BIOS and OS but I'm still having trouble with the CPU temperature during idle. I don't know what's causing the issue. I'm trying to change the PSU again and check the temperatures, but it's still around 50°C. I'm worried the temperature is too high, even though I think I applied the thermal paste correctly. I need some advice. My build is an i9 9900k, RTX 2080 Hx1500i, Corsair 5000t H100i.
What's the heat when things are under stress? Like after a short Cinebench run. 50°C is just okay.
50 indicates idle performance at 100 degrees. After restarting the system post-load, it reports a CPU temperature warning.
Reinstall and reattach the AIO l, then verify the pump and fan configurations are correct.
They seem fine, but there might be another issue—some of your motherboard pins could be damaged. Could this lead to overheating on the motherboard?
