the motherboard supports vrms but it shouldn’t overheat without overclocking. my other rig uses an i7-3770 with a bclk boosted to 4.3ghz and stays under 46c.
I’ll need to verify that again. It’s possible it might not work. I won’t know for sure.
Also verify using Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. Even if you understand the process, reapply thermal paste and ensure everything is properly installed. I just assembled my first PC last year—though it’s mostly straightforward, mistakes are easy to make. There’s definitely something off, and it would be interesting to find out what it is. Personally, I didn’t encounter any problems with the two Ryzen CPUs (2200G and 3600). My guess would be a misaligned heat sink or improper paste application, but I’m not sure.

Other motherboards experienced problems with temperature readings from the CPU, which were likely fixed after a BIOS update.
