Temperature on the CPU is very high, reaching 121°C.
CPU model: Ryzen 7 7700 Mobo, motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650 Plus (current BIOS & SOC under 1.25V). While playing Valorant, I observed an odd temperature spike. In the background, software processes are active—HWinfo and MSI Afterburner are running. Overall hardware temperatures remain normal (below 80°C), but the "CPU die(average)" reading is significantly higher, around 121°C. Is this a fault or should I be concerned?
It’s unclear how it managed to stay operational despite the high temperatures.
Expand the core temperatures to reveal each individual reading. Mostly one core shows a severely poor indium solder connection, which probably isn't normal. I’d clear the data, restart the test, and report the results. Expect a score between 19k and 20k, with strong performance above 5GHz across all cores for an R7 7700.
From the recorded highs, it seems like an unusual occurrence rather than a typical pattern.
