Hi, your GPU reaches temperatures between 52 and 56 degrees Celsius. You're using the OC software to lower the game's temperature to around 80 degrees Celsius. I'm curious—can a GPU safely operate at that high heat? With your existing cooling solutions, are you risking damage? Would it be better to enjoy higher settings with a temperature of 60-70 degrees, or should you reduce the game's performance?

It varies based on your graphics card. Mine is an R9 390X with 8GB, which tends to get quite hot. At low load it usually stays around 75-80 degrees, thanks to a strong WindForce cooler and fully loaded Corsair SP120 fans at max speed. Generally it's just warm, but if you're using something lighter like a GTX 1050, those temps might be a worry. Temperatures below 70 should be okay for most GPUs. Hope this clears things up.

Depends on your graphics card. Mine is an R9 390X with 8GB, which tends to get very hot. At less than 100% load I usually stay around 75-80 degrees, thanks to a strong WindForce cooler and fully loaded Corsair SP120 fans at maximum speed. My card just stays warm overall, but if you're using something lighter like a GTX 1050, those temperatures might be a concern. Anything below 70 degrees should be okay for most GPUs. Hope this helps. Thanks!

it works smoothly up to 80c
beyond that it will slow down due to thermal throttling—reducing performance to maintain a cooler temperature
thus 56c is safely above the concern threshold
