you're seeing high temperatures because the cooling system isn't handling the load well. even without anxiety or noise cancellation, the processor still struggles under stress, especially when AVX2 is off. turning on AVX helps a lot, but it doesn't fully solve the issue. you might need better cooling or a more powerful solution.
In games it's around 75. I also didn't mention that it hits 95 during the prime 95 test. When I run just prime 95 without using AVX, it reaches about 84.
Are you seeing unusual multi-core performance tricks? This looks like custom optimization with generally high voltages. Check the details on https://www.hwinfo.com/download/ to see if each core is operating as expected. If they're running at standard boost rates, it might indicate a faulty adapter.
It's accurate, though overheating should be avoided with stock CPUs. I agree completely—100%. Running P95 on a 9900k at 5GHz wasn’t possible even with a custom loop because the heat couldn’t be removed quickly enough. At stock speeds it definitely shouldn’t be a problem, but it’s still unrealistic. It shouldn’t get that hot.
It's quite limiting... I didn't choose a front model since it gathers dust and I'm dealing with OCD. The dust I created... what should I do now? Will getting a bigger cooler help? Also, I have a top exhaust fan... and my PC is close to the wall. Can you suggest some paste repair options?
