Temperature is high on the CPU – could it be a hardware problem?
I've been testing different monitoring and benchmarking software and noticed my CPU has been getting quite warm. Temperatures range from 60° to 70° Celsius when idle and usually reach 80° to 85° Celsius under load. I used HWiNFO64 and AIDA64 to track these readings. I also wanted to check the temps while the fan ran at full speed, but surprisingly they didn't change much—especially since the case fan spun up about 750 rpm more in one test than the other. This led me to two concerns: 1) The temperatures might be inaccurate, and 2) my cooling setup isn’t doing enough. The room temperature is around 25° to 30°C, and I have three intake and three exhaust fans in a decent case, but the CPU cooler is an AMD Wraith Max, which isn’t very efficient. I’m considering replacing it with a more powerful AIO fan later this year. Parts I’m planning to swap include a Ryzen 5 3600X, Aorus X570 Elite EVGA 2070, and several LL120 fans.
