I was considering a blower-style card versus a regular one, wondering how much cooler it could get. Maybe I misread your answer.
Still, I understand this wasn’t meant for maximum cooling or quiet operation. Silence isn’t crucial since I usually rely on an A/C system all year round, which could actually help me cool down more effectively. But if I’m seeing temperatures around 65-75°C with ambient temps between 18-20°C...
I agree with all the points. However, the main goal of this build was to save space and possibly lower power use, not for intense gaming or a high-performance setup. It still works well for everyday tasks like web browsing and NAS use.
My gaming rig is a 5900X with RTX3060ti, featuring 32GB and two 1TB M.2s in a Fractal Pop XL Air, equipped with six LL120s on a Commander Core. It’s stylish and powerful but quite large and bulky.
I thought it might be worth thinking about selling my gaming rig and swapping it for a gaming NAS, but that doesn’t seem necessary.
Thanks for the detailed information—it really helps avoid unnecessary effort for a less impressive outcome.
I believe you might be able to manage it, but you'd need to carefully organize everything and probably relocate to a 4U setup to avoid problems. It doesn't look like a simple consolidation will succeed.
