I observed my CPU experiencing unusual temperature spikes and quick cooling cycles, even without heavy workloads. The pattern seems steady across different loads. After adding the Corsair H80i V2 cooler, I’m still unsure if this was a normal effect of the stock cooler or something else. Could you help clarify what’s happening?

I'm checking the tools you're using to track those temperatures. CPU-Z might be involved, but I'm curious if the software's timing could be linked to the spikes you're seeing. Other minor tasks that strain the CPU can trigger quick responses and rapid core activity, which might affect readings. Ryzen Master could show a different pattern—look into that too.

Varies by monitoring system. Some display just the hottest core, while others show multiple cores with different temperatures. The tool will list CPU temps ranging from 35 to 40°C, and the average of six cores typically sits around 30°C.

Modify the fan configuration to offset peak temperatures reaching 55°C and review load temperature readings.
