Hello, welcome to the PC world! You just assembled your first laptop and started playing a game. After a week, you noticed your CPU temperatures jumped from 68 to 81, then dropped again. You thought it was due to a bad thermal paste, so you changed it and used a different one. The issue still persists. Your GPU is working well and stays stable at 64. You've adjusted the voltage and set it to 1.33 as well. If anyone can help clarify what might be causing this problem, it would really assist you.

It seems typical for a 3900x spike to occur during game loading, possibly due to increased CPU activity.

Hello, thanks for your message. I notice those video streams have consistent temperatures around 3900x, only fluctuating slightly. I don’t see sudden spikes of 10-15 degrees followed by drops. As someone new to PC systems, this can be unsettling because I worry when the temperature hits 81°C and it quickly returns.

It's an ITX matter with a 120AIO rating. Concern kicks in once temperatures reach over 90 degrees.

Consider tweaking the setup for better performance. Your Phanteks Evolv shift air with mesh sides seems solid, but exploring adjustments could enhance results.

Thanks for your support. I’m glad you found the help useful. If someone else has suggestions or improvements, I’d love to hear them. Could your friend’s old RAM be contributing to the issue? Since I’m still learning about PC components, I’m open to any ideas.

Unless you're interested in purchasing a large cooler that may not fit on an ITX board, other options for reducing temperatures are limited. It's unlikely they will prevent throttling or problems, so you shouldn't be concerned about it.

Even without using a flat voltage, doing this alternative will change how the CPU operates.
